Musical style and influences
Launch Point’s sound is a fusion of alternative rock, space rock, and neo-prog, designed to feel like a shuttle launch. Their music captures the intensity of chaotic, powerful moments, contrasted by serene, atmospheric passages that make you feel like you’re floating in the vast expanse of space.
They have been compared to and have sighted music and movie influences, including 311, 30 Seconds to Mars, Angels and Airwaves, Starset, Dredg, Incubus, Dead Letter Circus, Deftones, Beartooth, Thrice, Bring me the Horizon, Architects, Wu-Tang Clan, The Nappy Roots, Blade Runner, The Fountain, Earth to Echo, Lost, The Creator, and Oblivion.
